1965 Chevrolet Corvette for sale
1965 CorvetteConvertible code correct Nassau Blue with White/Blue Interior, White Soft Top,All Matching Numbers drivetrain (engine, transmission, rear end) L76 327-365HP, Close ratio four speed, Posi Rear End (4:11), AM/FM Radio, TintedWindshield, Knock Off Wheels (Repro), New Coker Firestone white wall tires,Telescopic steering wheel, GM off road exhaust mufflers. Excellent body,chassis detail and frame. Originally assembled on November 13, 1964. Comes witha ton of documentation, including its original Protectoplate and full glove boxpack with original owners manual, original keys and dealer keychain. Car runs and drives as new, great colorcombination. Strong Second Flight at 2015Quebec chapter meet. This was the cover car of the Spring 1984 issue ofCorvette News, which documents the restoration. Three issues of this issue will come with thecar. Furthermore, this one was just seven Corvettes chosen by GM to displayduring its 75th auto expo anniversary, which was held in September 1983. Enginebay is very well detailed with many NOS GM parts. Detailed chassis with correct inspection markings, restored dated Delco shocks on all four corners, shim markings etc. Interior shows new with impeccable seat covers, correct loop carpetin good condition and GM seat belts. Good condition door panels, dash pads and center console. Clock does not work. Convertibletop is recent, and is in very good condition with very good condition windowwith no thin spots. With the exceptionof the windshield, the glass on the car is correctly dated. Restored GM electric antenna. The chrome bumpersare in very good condition. Weather stripping is brand new, and in very good toexcellent condition.The numbersmatching engine shows the original casting date of November 5, 1964. Correctintake manifold, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, correct dated carburator, aircleaner, hoses and ignition are all in place. Frame is clean solid and rustfree. Records since 1982 are included aswell. All instrument gauges and lights,turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear end are in good operatingcondition. blast to drive NCRS member since 1991.
