Through generations to 3, styling got sleeker, passenger compartments lower, and emphasis was on look of car in motion, when it was sitting still.Flashy muscle cars are fun, and polished customs are nice, but for some folks, there's nothing better than well-done cruiser. Rid of any rust that might have been on this car, it is now long gone, and replaced by straight steel, with great consistent gaps, then fine coating of Chrysler Black Cherry with glass-like finish is seen all over this car. nicely contrasting beige convertible top is in fine working condition. Wonderful script style badging is seen on the front quarters, and on all corners are the correct and essential SS wheel covers. Dual exhaust protrude from the rear of this car, and produce wonderful sound when the accelerator is pressed in the downward direction.Interior
Two tone Fawn Beige in bucket form, and rear bench in the same, make up the newly restored original interior. Straight and true GM dash and instrumentation and plentiful use of ribbed aluminum makes up the center console, and it shows storage glovebox, and the automatic shifter, and another for storage area. Reworking the original 283ci V8 now bored over .30, and rebuilt Powerglide 2-speed transmission with rebuilt torque converter, new clutch, we now have great working couple, not unlike the owners.Undercarriage
