1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass for sale
Always been California car, and still has the original license plates to prove it. It is very dry car, well maintained and cared for all these years. Rolling on equally iconic American Racing wheels. 235-60/15, and 275-60/15.
Powered by the original 350 cui Rocket motor linked to the original ST300 automatic transmission. Power Steering and Power brakes.
The car was re-painted the original color about 15 years ago. It is peeling here and there and has some dings and dents. (Outstanding patina if you ask me) There is some light bubbling at the bottom of the front fenders and behind one rear wheel. Nothing to be alarmed about however.
The floor pans, trunk floor, drip rails, package tray are all super solid! No rust, and has never seen any rust.
All the glass is good, windows roll up and down, but driver side window is sagging little. Doors and trunk locks nice.The gauges all work, as does the lights, blinkers, wiper and fan. (the heater core is not connected though)
I bought the car from Hollywood actor TV personality Pod Cast star Tom Green, who drove it around in Hollywood and L.A for about years. He always had it well serviced.
Tom had the front and back seats re-upholstered, as well as the headliner around 2015. The door panels and floor mat is useable but shows some wear. The center console is in good condition but the console lock needs to be replaced. Good dash.
In January 2021 it received new: radiator, new fuel pump, new bbl carburetor, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, new alternator, new master cylinder, new front rotors and disc brakes.
I've been enjoying this car lot, and been driving it everywhere. Sometimes in 109 F. It is extremely reliable and very very fun to drive, and sure sounds mean with the flow master mufflers.I installed retro blue tooth stereo in it, and it's got two speakers in the rear.
