1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale

This very nice driver quality Ralley Green 1969 Chevy Camaro. This year some say is the best Camaro every built. This Camaro handles and drives so well you would think it was late model car. Everything is very tight on this car. It maintains that original factory feel and look that I think are missing in most re-done cars today. Original color on the car with original vinyl roof and original interior. real pleasure to drive!
Matching NumbersThis seems to be matching numbers car. can not be 100% since have no documentation. It came from the factory as you see it based on the cowl tag. Ralley Green with black vinyl roof and black interior. The date code on the engine seems correct for the year and the vin is on the transmission.
EngineThis car retains its 5.0 Liter 307 CI Engine. It starts and runs excellent with no knocking or noises. It has barrel carb that just rebuilt. As you can see the engine compartment was kept to show that original look. The Air Conditioner works great and an has R12 refrigerant just like it was from the factory. It has new AC Delco Platinum Plugs and new wires. Mechanically this thing is great. Not power house but reliable daily driver that would go anywhere and get pretty good gas mileage. It also has single exhaust in fair condition that exits at the passenger rear turned down.
BrakesI put new Delco booster on recently. This car has drum brakes on all corners, but stops incredibly well. You would never know it did not have disc.
Transmission2 Speed Powerglide car with console hose shoe shifter that is original to the car. It shifts well and there is no noise from the original 10 bolt differential.
InteriorThe interior looks like most of it is original and in great condition. The carpet looks new and it has OEM style floor mats that added. All the gauges work well. The horn, the aftermarket post radio, windshield wipers, all the lights including the interior ones all work. The window washers do not work. It is just well kept interior. The headliner has a couple of tears but since it is original, would not replace it. Dash pad is in good shape. Seats you can tell has the original covers and seat pads. All the factory seat belts are there as well. The original spare, jack and trunk liner are still with the car. This car has the factory clock that is there but not working.
ExteriorThis car still shows its OEM paint color. In the past it has had one re-spray that is decent and shines well but not perfect. There is one chip in the hood, one fades spot on the hood, and one place where you there is some slight peeling showing the factory color below. This car probably has some filler in the quarters, fenders. think all the sheet metal is original. The floor pans are new looking and the trunk pan is solid with only few pin holes. All the trim is there from the factory and in good shape. The chrome is in good original shape but not show quality. Someone decided to put 350 badges on the car instead of 307 factory ones -probably so one day 350 swap could be done very affordably. Rear deck and front spoiler added at some point.
GlassAll the glass is in good condition through out the car. There is one crank in the back that is missing gold knob. The rest are original.
Tires and WheelsThis car has very rare SS rally wheels that were only put on 1969 Camaros in Jan of 1969 they only put them on at the factory for one month. The car has brand new BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires 235-60 R14. great car needs great tires.
