1984 Porsche 928 for sale
The vehicle was in astate of disrepair when found it, based on the documents, andvehicle condition at the time of my purchase it has been parked ina shed sometime around 1992-1993, the owner was ill and passed away. The car spent some time outside after his passing, until the estatefinally sold the vehicle. have clear PA title in my name for thevehicle, as well as copies of the original title and deathcertificate.
The car is not inconcours condition and didn’t plan for it to be. It would havetaken far more time and effort than have available to restore thecar, so decided to clean it up, get it functionally running andcustomize it to my specific liking. Make it nice driver but keepthe spirit of the original vehicle in tact. sorted the vehiclemechanically, then picked away at the exterior to complete my goal ofmaking it car was not scared to drive.
Mechanical completedto date -Timing belt andwater pump were completed at 3,000 mi, as well as new battery andoil change and wipers.Oil pan resealed,sagging/cracked motor mounts replacedOil/FilterTransmissionfluid/Differential fluidFuel pumpBelts

Mechanicalcondition:The vehicle willneed looked through. It is an almost 40 year old vehicle regardlessof the mileage. have driven the car, but due to the age of therubber components/brake hoses etc, and the fact that the car has beensitting – would absolutely check the safety related items Donot expect to jump in this car and make cross country triptomorrow, for your own safety you need to look over all systems.
Known faults – tothe best of my knowledgeHeadlights go up andwork, but do not drop down. If you mess with the switch can makethem drop. While jiggling the headlight switch, also wiggled thegauge cluster and the printed circuit board looks rough, the gaugeswiggle around when you shake it. few vendors sell the circuitboard, and is cheap repair. never drove it at night so it didn’tbother me. Wiper wiring and defroster wiring, same story. Foglightsneed wired up, few fuses are blown, and its 40 year old Porsche so expect few other quirks. The A/C is removedbut included in the sale, if you desire to reinstall. was planningto install and charge it eventually.Exterior – All ofmy vehicles are white and did not want to spend the time paintingthis car when never planned on restoring it, so had it wrapped ingloss white vinyl. It is very nice wrap job, but as with mostvinyl installs, the door jams are still body color originally silver, then sprayed blue. There are or 3dings on the rocker panels, it looks like it was jacked upincorrectly at some point. or small hail size ding in the hood.Closing notes -Vehicle is not completely finished. Minor items just need pickedaway at. There are imperfections, but the car shows incredibly wellfor being 40 years old. Drive it as is, or finish it to your ownstandards. You may inspect vehicle prior to sale, but it will be sold as is. If you require any addiotnal photos do not hesitate to email.
