2000 Mitsubishi Magna VRX 133,000 kms 11 months rego for sale
This car has story. year ago to the week my wife's Magna Solara, with genuine 30,000 kms on it, was T-boned by little old lady who "didn't see the roundabout" my wife was on. The NRMA wrote it off. My wife was devastated. She loved the Solara and we had actually paid twice its market value the previous year because of the incredibly low kilometers. Thinking was doing the right thing purchased this 123,000 km VRX the next day to replace the Solara. Not the smartest move apparently, according to my wife. These cars are very different to drive than the Solaras. They have more powerful engine, firmer sports suspension, and speed tiptronic auto gearbox. I went through it to make sure it was reliable because my wife was to use it for her work as community nurse. New radiator, brakes, plugs, leads, exhaust, and JVC stereo. My wife hated it. loved it. bought her 2000 commodore with very low kms and kept the VRX for myself. It is the most amazing car to drive. Fantastic acceleration and handling. It was actually the fastest cylinder production car in the year 2000, putting the Commodore SS and Falcon XR6 to shame. It was also the most expensive Mitsubishi in the year 2000. Check out the site below for roadtest. http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/xrt_magnavrx.htm Unfortunately am the only one in this family that will drive it. My wife still hates it and my "P" plate daughter, who was in the Solara when it was written off, is scared of its size and power. Hence we come to the reason it is for sale. If you look at the last photo it is picture of Toyota Echo that have just purchased to build up my daughter's confidence. now need to sell the VRX to pay off the credit card. So here we have it. 2000 Magna VRX with 133,640 genuine kms. Radiator brakes and exhaust are 10,000 kms old. New Continental tyres went on 4,000 kms ago. It was registered one month ago, and it had service when it hit 133,000. It needs nothing spent on it unless you wanted to replace the last 3rd of the exhaust with the original for VRX instead of the standard Magna one that put on it. was aiming for little less growl to please my wife. The car still growls nicely when you plant your foot but it is little more civilised. Happy bidding.
