The engine is very eager and economical 1.8 litre TDCI (Zetec Turbo Diesel engine)that produces around 125 BHP and drives the front wheels through speed manualgearbox all of which works exactly as it should and still feels very tight andsurprisingly it feels more like car that has only covered 50,000 miles. Thecar is also backed up by full service history (7 stamps), is HPI clear andhas only recently had an oil service carried out.
The exterior as you can see from the pictures is in good condition but thereare couple of marks and few small dents. The dents are on the nearside frontwheel arch and another on the nearside rear quarter very low down where thebottom of the rear passenger door meets the quarter panel. Apart from that bothbumpers have small amount of damage that would benefit from paint, there is asmall crease on the front bumper from someone sitting on it and there are somesmall light scratches in various places. This is all light cosmetic damage butis reflected in the starting price.
The interior is in good condition with minimal wear and tear and is nicecolour combination. At worst would say there is some damage to the carpet onthe driver side from high heels but this is easily rectified with new floormats. As this is Zetec it has been extremely well equipped with: ElectricWindows, Multi-Function Steering Wheel, Electric Mirrors, Cruise Control, BlueTooth,Digital Air-Con & Climate Control, CD Stereo, Remote Locking & Alarm,PAS & ABS, Heated Front & Rear Screens, Trip Computer, TractionControl, Loads of Airbags plus lots more.
Over all this is fantastic Mondeo which is little different to the norm andoffers lot of luxury with low running costs returning an average MPG of 48and up to 60 MPG on steady motorway run.
