Rare complete big block 1970 Challenger. Barn find from Ontario, brought to Edmonton, Alberta last month. Was my old neighbor's and under tarp on an asphalt driveway for 25 years. The owner finally let me buy it. eyed the car since was teenager.Body is very rusty in places, good in others thus will need some new sheet metal, the FR torsion bar is broken/rusted off and the frame rails are poor and will need replacing in sections. Glass is mint even the windshield. Minimal rust around the windows. All chrome pieces are there and salvageable. All interior pieces are there dash very cracked but solid, and panels seem decent. The only chrome piece cant find is the "L" shaped chrome strip to the right of the trunk and it may be there under stuff, the car interior is disassembled. Was originally sublime green with 318 and speed. Was replaced by 440, bored 30 over, hi lift cam, headers, 906 heads, Weiand intake, Holley 600, electric fan, elec ignition, etc. Trans is 727 auto 2200 stall with hurst shifter. The space for the clutch is evident sadly no clutch assembly in the trunk lol. Motor is NOT seized but would not try starting it without carb rebuild and gas tank flush at the very least. Engine has no leaks and the oil and coolant look fresh. He reportedly started it over the years. paid bundle to get this car to Alberta to save it from Ontario oblivion but don't have the garage space to resto it right now. Willing to pass it on to somebody who can save it or use it for parts for an R/T etc. Also comes with new in the box Richmond 355 gears, half pumpkin (no cover) and spare posi rear diff parts. Has working 273 in the car now. Have an extra good instrument cluster too, and pair of old school aluminum centre lines (15x6) if you want as well.Car is for sale locally as well so reserve the right to end the auction early. And sale is AS IS with no warranty.
