1972 Holden HQ Kingswood Sedan (Premier detailed)
Factory 202 Speed Tri-Matic
Last registered in 2012 and has been in storage since, this is complete vehicle.Paint work was done roughly about 15 years ago, some modified parts over this time was the Fiberglass bonnet with Reverse Cowl Scoop (3") and change of seats, HJ Front Bucket Seats and the WB Statesman De'ville rear with the fold down arm rest.
Have taken off the wheel arch Side skirt/Sill panel moulds to show more detailed condition of the vehicle, these are in very good condition and will also come with the vehicle.
Compliance tags have never been removed from this vehicle.
This is an honest vehicle and great example as restoration project, no rust in the rear sill's or any of the common areas and very minor surface starting to appear in very few spots.
Runs very well but needs the starter to battery earth lead to battery cables replaced as it doesn't always start without having to wiggle the wires at the battery little, these are still the original cables and are starting to show there age.
Carpets, seats and boot linings have been previously removed for inspection and all areas of the boot flooring are rust free.
This is genuine and regretful sale, haven't the time or funds to continue on with this project due to change of circumstances so grab yourself bargain as you probably won't find another HQ around in this kind of condition.Was recently appreciated by Shannon's Insurance for 25k as it sits in it's current condition, this isn't just another bucket with wild claims.
Vehicle comes additionally supplied with lazer-cut door card kit (new complete), very good condition rear quarter vents, front kick panels (uncut) remaining hinge covers to complete the front seats.Starter motor and mechanical fuel pump have also been replaced recently.
