Volkswagen Golf SE TDI 5 Door for sale
Up for sale is my 2001 51 plate VW Golf TDI SE door in blue.
Reason for sale: Basically bought the car from work (I work at BMW garage and deal with all the PX's) as had to sell my road bike as now needed two cars to ferry the kids about with my wife now working. got the car to basically run until it died as need something cheap as the Mrs runs our new car as they do!!!! Anyhow we've had the whole house re plastered and an extension done so really need something bigger so for the time being I've bought transit connect. (the wife's gone nuts!) So need to sell the gold to get some money back.....
The Car:
2 keys, both work has central looking. The car has 4x electric windows all working, electric mirrors again working and radio/cd player with aux cable fitted. Has AC that's nice and cool and heaters work on all settings (common fault) Also has reverse parking sensors again full working order.
Condition:
Has your usual bumps, scratches and scuffs for car of this age and miles, the offside front wing has some rust coming through rest are fine... The front lower plastic splitter is missing they are £18 off here, doesn't bother me... Some scuffs to front corners of bumpers all done by previous keeper, and usual chips around the front area. The front tyres have 4mm and rear tyres are 6mm, the spare is brand new.

15) 12.03.16 123,765mls Worsbro Motor Spares bought and fitted new battery cmes with 2yr warranty, litres of oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter and cabin. fitted all these myself. have the receipt to prove the purchase of the items.
As you can see been looked after last owner had the car for years and believe it was in her partners name before that!
Known Issues:
When we buy cars from work they have to have safety check completed to ensure they are fit enough to be purchased by staff below is what know off.
Now every car has them but want to be 100% honest as that's how like to be treated too!!!
There is knock from the passenger side, sounds like anti roll bar bush or something like that.
If you pull away slowly and change gear before 1800 revs the car is fine, if you pull away above 2000 revs and keep changing gear its fine. However if you let the revs drop to between 1800 and 2000 revs there is slight hesitation like flat spot. You can either keep your foot planted and it will pick up and go after maybe secs or change down and it pulls fine...
There is no nasty noises or smoke or anything like that, the turbo is fine it's not that either. have the car looked at and they couldn't find anything but said if leave it with them they would have to do live data checking. didn't want to spend any more on the car so never booked it in. have read that it's common issue and can be faulty mar sensors or something like that...Could be simple fix don't know£? The car revs freely from stand still etc with no problems.... these are the faults know of! The car will make good run around or work horse they go on forever if looked after.
The car is un insured and declared off the road too as am currently running the van I've bought. So no test drives as the consequences are far too great unless have cash in my hand.
No messes etc any question please ask, no px I've got the van. I'm not in massive rush to sell as once work on house completed I'll jut sell van and go back to running car if need be. As mentioned above it's the wife chewing my ear hence the sale.
The Golf is advertised elsewhere so have the right to remove if sold, there is no warranty am no mechanic so please if you want to come kick the tyres as once won there is no negotiation etc.... any inspections welcomed... encourage this as wouldn't buy without inspecting first.
